At North Shore Eye Health and Wellness, our staff is friendly and professional. Our commitment is to provide exceptional customer service to all of our patients. We take pride in our personalized care and strive to spend the necessary time with each patient to ensure a comfortable experience.
Office Manager, CPO
It is a privilege to have Lori Post under our roof. Lori's background includes over 30 years of hands-on experience in both retail optical and private practice. Certified as a ParaOptometric Technician, her customer service background is unmatched. From lens manufacturing to ocular specialty testing, back to frame styling, she truly has a full-scope outlook and training. Patient care has always been her passion and she brings that mindset to her role as an Office Manager at North Shore Eye.
Lori relocated to the area from Weyauwega, WI in 2016 to be closer to her children. Her claim to fame is being a survivor of the great train derailment of 1996, which displaced the residents of that small community for 21 days.
In her downtime, she values spending quality time with family and friends, her big black dog, and walking on the sunny side of the street. She loves art, music, and travel. Her personal mission in life is to welcome each day with a smile, a positive attitude, and an open mind.
Lead Optician, ABO-C
We are excited to have Nichole as our lead Optician for the practice. She has over 15 years of experience in the optical field with backgrounds in all levels of operations. Her passion is for the art of Opticianry and she is Board Certified in her craft. She brings a wealth of Optical knowledge to our office, priding herself in technical frame repairs and adjustments. Her passion is finding the perfect frame and lens combination to meet her patient's medical and aesthetic needs.
Nichole's favorite hobby is simply being a Mom to her children and spending quality time with them all. She also enjoys cooking and baking, which is a valuable skill to bring into any office setting!
ParaOptometric Technician, Eyelid Hygienist, CPO
Cathy came to the Optical field after 13 years as a licensed Cosmetologist, looking for a way to join the medical field. Her background as a cosmetologist helped her to quickly earn her Paraoptometric Certification and become a skilled Eyelid Hygienist. Cathy enjoys performing diagnostic and therapeutic services as directed by our doctors, in particular, assisting with advanced dry eye therapies.
In her free time, Cathy enjoys her role as a mother of her two children and exploring all that the local area has to offer with friends and family.
Alysa joined North Shore Eye Health and Wellness with a background in Optical and truly has a passion for what she does! She has a real gift for helping patients pick out glasses, designing lenses to meet their needs, and adjusting them to fit just right. Her plan is to expand her education and is currently studying for the American Board of Opticianry (ABO) certification.
Outside of work she enjoys spending quality time with her daughter whether it be going on an adventure or just watching a Disney movie. She is also a huge animal lover with a dog and a bunny as part of her family at home.
Patient Care Coordinator
Shelby grew up in Madison, WI, and attended undergrad at UW-Eau Claire. After earning a history degree, she moved to the Milwaukee area. She is excited to be part of a growing practice with real community focus, and is looking forward to expanding her optometric knowledge. When she is not working, Shelby enjoys reading fiction with a cat on her lap, fervently volunteering at the Cedarburg Art Museum, and planning her next international trip; which she is always taking travel suggestions for!
Medical Assistant, CMA
Before joining North Shore Eye Health and Wellness, Deanne was a certified medical assistant in dermatology for three years in Raleigh, North Carolina. In June of 2020, Deanne moved to Wisconsin to pursue the exploration of the Midwest. She is excited to be entering into a new medical specialty! Deanne enjoys working with our pediatric patients and is a strong advocate for regular eye health physicals, beginning at 6-12mos of age. Outside of work, Deanne enjoys hiking the trails of Wisconsin, breathing the wild air, and of course, spending time with her family.
Ophthalmic Medical Assistant, COA
Kelly joined North Shore Eye Health and Wellness after completing her degree in Ophthalmic Medical Assisting from Lakeshore Technical College. While finishing her clinical within our practice, she fell in love with both our eye care team and the Cedarburg area -- she now considers us her home away from home!
After working in Early Childhood for most of her career, she is excited to be meeting and assisting patients within our practice. She enjoys learning new skills and techniques for patient care and has a passion for both vision therapy and dry eye patient care.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She stays busy cheering on both of her children’s sports teams, loves reading, spending time with friends, and is always up for a good true-crime podcast!
