Sports And Safety

Every year, it is estimated that 2.5 million Americans will suffer from an eye injury. These most commonly occur on the job, around the home, or during athletic activities. Sadly, eye trauma is a leading cause of blindness. The good news is that nearly 90% of these injuries are preventable, with proper protection.

At North Shore Eye Health and Wellness, we want to you protect your gift of sight. We participate in local small business Eyewear Safety Programs, and promote use of safety eyewear for all of our athletes that come through the clinic. Have questions regarding safety eyewear? We are here to help!
